1.4.1 Desktop
New
- Back and forward buttons at the top of the sidebar, also in the History menu as ⌘[ and ⌘].
- Shortcuts. Pin any dashboard, data source or exploration to the top of the sidebar with the star on its card or row, or with Add to Shortcuts in its menu. Drag shortcuts to reorder them, and they follow you to your other devices.
- A Dashboards page lists all your dashboards as cards, each with a thumbnail of its layout. You can filter by name and sort, and the sort is remembered.
- A Data Sources page lists all your data sources in one table, with each one’s sync status and when it last synced. Failed syncs sort to the top, and every column sorts.
Improvements
- The sidebar is simpler and tighter. Dashboards, Data Sources, Assistant and Explorations are plain links, and the onboarding progress is a single row.
- A data source’s sync badge now shows its status and when it last synced, with the exact time on hover.
- Sync status reads the same everywhere in the app, and a new data source’s first sync shows up right away.
- Icons are consistent across the app.
- The plan limit badge is easier to read in both light and dark themes.
No longer broken
- Public dashboards with a combination chart now show the chart’s data.
- General bug fixes and improvements.
